Our programs include Community and Family Support Service and Creating Options. These counselling programs take a holistic approach and can provide alcohol and other drug case management and care coordination, connecting you to other health and service providers.

Our counselling programs are open to people aged 18+ who live within our service areas. Counselling is available for people who want to address their substance use, or related issues such as mental health, relationships or other concerns.
Our counselling programs offer up to 12 free sessions delivered once a week over 12 weeks. You can access all or some of these sessions.
If required, another 12 free counselling sessions may be offered to you after you finish your first 12 sessions.
All Drug ARM counsellors have experience helping people with mental health and alcohol and other drug concerns. Our counselling team is made up of psychologists, counsellors, social workers and other professionals.
If you are enrolled in our Community and Family Support Service in Brisbane or Annerley, you will be supported by 2 counsellors in their final year of study. These counsellors are supervised closely by a qualified alcohol and other drug specialist.
No. We understand that the first step may be a conversation, and cutting back on substances can be a complex and challenging process.
Our programs are designed to support people at various stages of their journey, and will goals that range from less harmful use to complete abstinence.
However, we do ask that you do not attend our sessions under the influence of substances. Our priority is to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all our clients and counsellors.
