Changing Lives Together

Our Day Program is for people wanting to address issues related to alcohol, other drug use and mental health in a supported group environment, along with some individual support.

Groups are confidential, providing a safe space where you can access treatment without judgement. They can run for around 20 hours per week, up to 12 weeks.

Topics covered in the program include:

Go behind your alcohol and other drug use

We offer a holistic approach, working with you to understand and address all of the issues that might be contributing to your alcohol and other drug use.

When you join the program, you will be matched with a case manager who will work with you to identify your goals and help you make progress towards them.

Your case manager can also help to coordinate care by connecting you to other health and service providers in community, if required.

We aim to run smaller groups than other treatment programs – typically up to 12 people – to ensure you get the attention you need and personalised results you are looking for.

After multiple treatment programs with Drug ARM I’m finding it has become easier to curb my drinking, easier to get back into good habits and easier to take responsibility. Drug ARM has been, and continues to be a key part of my journey. I know it’s a safe place for me to talk, to learn, to cry, to laugh, to be accountable and to get better.

Participants attend groups on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 9.30am to 2.30pm. You will be able to schedule one on one appointments with your case manager outside of these group times.

From time to time we offer a mobile day program to different locations. The days and times of these groups are decided on when a new group is planned and offered.

No. We understand that the first step may be a conversation, and cutting back on substances can be a complex and challenging process.

Our programs are designed to support people at various stages of their journey and with goals that range from less harmful use to complete abstinence.

However, we do ask that you do not attend groups under the influence of substances. Our priority is to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all our clients and counsellors.
